Girl Scout and camping experience are a plus, but not required! We are looking for staff that are kind, caring, and will serve as positive role-models for our campers. If you have a positive attitude and love to have fun, we encourage you to apply!
-
All staff will attend our staff training, where you will learn everything you need to know to be an effective staff member. Counselors, the CIT Manager, and other leadership staff will be trained in all activities: swimming, boating, archery, tomahawk throwing, and the low and high ropes course. If there are any activities you are not comfortable being trained in, that is okay - just be sure to indicate that on your application. Staff will also learn about outdoor cooking, fire building, teambuilding, Girl Scouting, and more. Staff training is also an important time to get to know and bond with your fellow staff members. We become a close-knit family during the summer, and it all starts at training. We love to have fun with everything we do at camp, and staff training is no exception!

Counselors and the CIT Manager will be sleeping in staff cabins near their campers’ cabins. Staff do not sleep in cabins with campers. Our staff cabins are platform cabins with wooden sides, metal roof, and canvas front and backs. They have electrical outlets. Each cabin unit has a sink, latrine, and pavilion. Showers and flush toilets are available at the shower house. Laundry facilities are also available for staff use. Staff are welcome to go home on their days off or stay at camp for the duration of the summer season. The kitchen staff are not required to live on-site, but are welcome to.
-
Room and board is included as part of your summer salary. Staff will eat in the dining hall alongside their campers. We serve a variety of kid-friendly foods, and look to change up the menu each week. Staff are welcome to bring their own snacks to eat on their breaks and on days off.
-
We offer weekend programs (Mom and Me and Troop Core), a 2-night mini session, and 3 weeklong sessions. We strive to provide our campers with a jam-packed session of fun, where they can make new friends, gain confidence, and develop independence. We provide a girl-led environment, where our campers are encouraged to design their own camp experience. We offer many activities, including swimming, boating, archery, tomahawk throwing, slingshots, low and high ropes course, crafts, games, outdoor cooking, campfires, songs, and more! Many of our campers return year after year and look forward to making new friends and trying new things.
