  • No! Our overnight camps are open to all girls, and we encourage campers to bring a friend, Girl Scout or not! If your camper would like to become a registered Girl Scout before camp, simply register here! Non-members have a $50 fee added during the camp registration process.

  • Activities at Trefoil include swimming, boating, archery, sling shots, tomahawk throwing, high and low ropes course, gaga ball, basketball, volleyball, tetherball, crafts, games, a water trampoline, a floating inflatable rock wall (“The Iceberg”), campfires, outdoor cooking, and more! Some activities are age restricted.

  • Realizing families have different abilities to pay, we have a voluntary fee structure based on a 3-tier pricing system. The tier you select will have no impact on the camp experience your camper receives. Choose the tier that is right for you!

Tier A $525- Traditionally subsidized cost, representing a $100 subsidy

    Tier B $575 - Partially subsidized cost, representing a $50 subsidy

Tier C $625- Closest to the TRUEST cost of camp, if you’re able to pay this- please do!

The Mini Session and Cadette Program Aide are $300.

A $50 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of registration.

  • No, camp registration is based on the grade that your girl is entering for the 2023-24 school year. Girl Scout levels are as follows:

    Daisy: Grades K-1

    Brownie: Grades 2-3

    Junior: Grades 4-5

    Cadette: Grades 6-8

    Senior: Grades 9-10

    Ambassador: Grades 11-12

  • Campers will stay in a cabin unit or yurt with other campers their age. Cabin units consist of multiple 4-person platform cabins. These cabins have wood sides, a roof, and canvas front and backs.

  • Some of our favorite traditions include opening and closing campfires, our wishboat ceremony, and Thanksgiving dinner every Thursday! We love introducing fun new activities each year, while continuing our longstanding traditions.

  • Campers typically spend the morning participating in activities with their unit. After lunch, we break for rest hour when campers can take a nap, write a letter home, or quietly hang out with their cabinmates. In the afternoon, campers get to choose which activities they participate in during Open Programming. After dinner, the whole camp gets together for an All Camp activity. After All Camp we begin to settle down for the night so we can do it all again the next day!

  • We have our own small, private lake called Snyder Lake! Since we have it all to ourselves it is perfect for swimming and boating for beginners and experts. The swimming area is divided into multiple sections. Campers will undergo a swimming assessment to determine their swimming ability, which will determine which sections they can go in. We also have a water trampoline and inflatable rockwall for extra fun in the water. We have canoes, rowboats, kayaks, funyaks, and corcls for campers to use.

  • Our Low Ropes Course is open to all ages. It has a series of ground elements to be used to help campers develop teamwork and communication skills. Our High Ropes Course has 11 elements, including a zip line! The elements are divided into areas based on difficulty. The Flying Squirrel element is open to all ages and abilities. The beginner and intermediate sections of the course and the zip line are for grades 4 and up. The advanced section is for grades 6 and up. We emphasize that our courses are “challenge by choice”. Campers are encouraged to set goals for themselves, and then challenge themselves to meet those goals. Whether their goal is to be the best cheerleader from the ground, to climb to the top of the ladder, or to conquer the whole element, we will cheer them on no matter what. The High Ropes Course is a great way to build courage, confidence, and character at camp!

  • Each week we will have a maximum of approximately 60 campers. This allows us to maintain the close-knit camp community that we love at Trefoil. If your camper knows someone from another age group at camp, they will have plenty of opportunities to see each other: at meals, All Camp, and during Open Programming.

  • Overnight camp is just for kids! Staying away from home is a great opportunity for your camper to build confidence and independence. If you would like to attend camp with your child, please see our Mom and Me offerings.

  • After registering for camp you will receive an email inviting you to create an account with CampDoc. You will submit all health paperwork and complete all camper forms in your CampDoc account.

The below forms must be filled out by a physician:
    Physical Form
    Permission to Dispense Medication Form

  • Check out our adventure trips! For 2023 we are offering 4 Adirondack trips ranging from 3 to 6 days in length.

  • Yes, we honor 1 buddy request per camper. In your CampDoc account there will be a place to request a buddy. Please ensure both campers request each other. Buddies must be registered for the same program and be in the same age group. Not coming to camp with a buddy? No worries! Camp is a place to make new friends.

  • Absolutely! Overnight camp is only for girls (no adults), but troop members can choose to attend the same week. Interested in a troop camping experience for the whole troop including leaders? Check out Troop Core!

  • Yes, financial assistance is available for registered Girl Scouts. We want every Girl Scout to be able to experience camp regardless of their financial situation. Please register for camp first to hold your spot, and then submit this aid request form online.
